Füzes Fruzsi

I am a contemporary glass mosaic artist based in the Danube Bend, Hungary.

I create unique glass mosaic artworks inspired by the colours, forms and ever-changing beauty of nature.

Each piece is handcrafted from carefully selected coloured glass. Rather than creating traditional decorations, I create artworks that become part of a garden or interior, changing with the light, the seasons and the viewer's perspective.

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by colours and harmonious forms. Countless hours spent observing nature have shaped the way I see composition, colour and balance, and this way of seeing continues to define my work today.

I began my artistic journey as a self-taught artist. In 2023, I was introduced to the art of mosaic at Kézdi Piroska Decorative Glass Studio in Hungary, whose guidance and generous support I remain deeply grateful for. In 2025, I further developed my skills at the Mosaic Art School in Ravenna, Italy, attending the Modern Mosaic course led by internationally recognised mosaic artists.

This artistic approach is still relatively uncommon in Hungary, and through my work I continue to develop a personal visual language.

Quality, originality and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything I create. Every piece is designed to have its own unique character.
